Stacking the Shelves: January - April

Hiya guys! I love love love seeing other people's Stacking The Shelves posts, so I thought I start doing them myself. Initially, I was going to only do the last week, but I wanted to acknowledge all the lovely people who have sent me books over the last couple of months. I appreciate it so so much. <3
So here's the books I aquired January through April this year. From now on, I'll being doing these weekly or monthly, so it's not such a huge pile to get through. 
This will give you an idea of all the books I will be reading and reviewing over the next few months. I can't wait to read all of these! 
Note: I missed out some of the books in the picture, but they are all listed below.





Tales From The Shadowhunter Academy - from the lovely Suze and Anniek at With Love for Books. Thank you so much for the giveaway, guys! 

10 Things I Can See From Here  - from the lovely folks at Alfred A. Knopf Books for Young Readers. Thank you guys, I can't wait to read this one. 

Under Rose-Tainted Skies - from Sarah at Aphonic Sarah. Thank you Sarah for the giveaway prize!

Roseblood, Noteworthy, The Last Thing You Said and The Inconceviable Life of Quinn, all from Abrams and Chronicle Books. Thanks for spoiling me with these lovely books, guys! I'm really excited to read and review them!

Lucky In Love - I won this one directly from the author, who is so so lovely. Thank you so much Kasie, I love your books.

The Disapperances and Sparks of Light -  both from HMH Books for Young Readers. These are some of my most anticipated books of the year and I'm so thankful to have been sent them. I can't wait to review them!

Windfall - I won this one from the lovely Annie on twitter, and she was generous enough to send it to me, despite the shipping difficulties. Thank you so much, Annie!

Literally, Obsidian and Stars and The Secret History of Us - all three of these were sent to me by Jessie from Harper 360. The guys at Harper 360 are just so amazing, and they made my book dreams come true! Thank you so much, I'm excited to review these three!

Bound By Blood and Sand - I won this one in a giveaway from Nori at ReadWriteLove28 and the author herself, Becky Allen. This one is beautiful, and sounds so interesting.

The Row, The Shadow Prince and Ten - these books (all signed!) were sent to me by Terra Lynn Childs. Thank you for the wonderful giveaway, Terra!

The Female of the Species - I won this one as a preorder along with a lovely care package from Alexa at Words Off the Page. Thank you so much Alexa!

Carve the Mark - I recieved this one from Jessica at Harper Collins. Thank you Jessica! <3

Blood Rose Rebellion, The Witch Hunter and The King Slayer - these were sent to me by the wonderful Rosalyn Eves, who also sent me some swag. Thank you so much, Rosalyn! 

Seven Days of You and The Square Root of Summer - I won a giveaway from the lovely Harriet Reuter Hapgood for Seven Days of You and she was incredibly generous and sent me The Square Root of Summer too! Thank you Harriet!

A Crown of Wishes - Tammy (@tammymtherialt on twitter) sent me this one, even after there were shipping issues. Thank you so much Tammy! I hope we both enjoy this one! <3

Defy - I was sent this one by Gabrielle Saunders. Thank you so much Gabrielle! I've been dying to read this one!

Magic Study - I found this one online used, and got it for 1 pence! A bargain for a book I've been wanting for so so long. And in the edition I wanted, too.

Interference - I was sent this one by Misty from The Book Rat as part of her Austen celebration. Thanks so much Misty, this sounds like an awesome Austen retelling!

The Divergent Trilogy, The Legend Trilogy and A Conjuring of Light - I was lucky enough to win a giveaway hosted by Melissa at Spellbound for books and these were the books I choose. Melissa is so incredibly generous, and her blog is amazing too. You should check it out.

Metaltown and Poison's Kiss - Kristen Simmons sent me both of these as part of her Newsletter Subscriber giveaway and they are both signed! I am so excited to read them both! Thank you so much, Kristen and Breeana!

Always and Forever, Lara Jean - Angel at Angel's Guilty Pleasures was kind enough to send me this one! Thank you so much Angel, I can't wait to read it!

The Upside of Unrequited - I won this book from the lovely Lonna at Flylef and I can't wait to read it - thank you Lonna!

The Sun is Also A Star - Caitlin (Book Chats on Booktube) sent me this one as part of the Booktube Awards 2016. I love this one, but I didn't have my own copy, so thank you Caitlin!

Wayfarer - Carolyn at abiblioreads sent me this one with an amazon gift card, with which I was able to buy my very own copies of The Hunger Games series. Thank you Carolyn, for being so generous!

Windwitch and A Great and Terrible Beauty - I was lucky enough to win Alana's (King Books) giveaway on youtube and I got these two beauties. Thank you Alanna, I can't wait to read them!

Strange the Dreamer  - I preordered this one 2 years ago (!) when it was first announced and it finally came. I was even able to take it to a local signing and get it signed by Laini Taylor herself!

Girl in Pieces and Honor Girl  - These titles were sent to me by the lovely author Maggie Thrash (I read her book We Know It Was You and really enjoyed it, so you guys should check her books out). Thank you Maggie!

Everyone We've Been - I won this one through a giveaway on That Artsy Reader Girl, hosted by Jana, and the author, Sarah. Thank you guys, I can't wait to read it!

The Careful Undressing of Love, History is All You Left Me and Truthwitch  - these titles were sent to me by the organisational team behind the writing convention ChapterOneCon as part of a giveaway prize. I'm so excited to read them!

The Hate U Give - Okay, this one is particularly special to me. I was talking about how much I wanted to read this title on twitter when the crazily generous @thelocnessmonster offered to send it to me. CAN YOU GUYS BELIEVE THAT? So incredibly generous of her. She didn't have to send me this book at all and she just offered to. We need more people like this in the world. Thank you so so much, from the bottom of my heart! <3

Scythe - I won this title in a giveaway from Cassie at Rants and Raves of a Bibliophile and read it as soon as a received it. Thank you so much Cassie, it was my favourite book of the year so far!

Alchemists of Loom - This one was sent to me by the author, Elise Kova. It looks wonderful, and I'm excited to read it. Thank you Elise!

A Court of Wings and Ruin - AHHHHHH! ACOWAR! (This only arrived today!) Hannah, and Cassie from P.S. I Love That Book sent me this one as part of their blogoversary giveaway and I. CAN'T WAIT. Thank you guys!

The Raven Boys and The Dream Thieves - I was sent these by Anna at Starcrossed Book Blog and I LOVE them. They are such beautiful editions and I am in love! Thank you Anna.

Caraval - Last, but most certainaly not least, is this incredibly beautiful book! I was sent this one (Signed to me!) by  Danni from Lil Red Bookshelf. Danni, you made my day when this dropped through the letterbox. You're the best!

  7. Wow, so many books and so many good ones. I am jealous. It's great that you wanted to mention all you've got for the year and thank everyone. ALthough, I wouldn't like seeing the physical piles of books from the past few months, it would make me feel guilty of the unread ones of which I have a lot.
