Everything Comes Back to You by Jackie Khalilieh (Tundra Books) - previously titled And Everything Comes Back to You.
A young adult romance from Something More author, Jackie Khalilieh, for fans of Some Mistakes Were Made and Taylor Swift's FOLKLORE.
Told in four parts—freshman, sophomore, junior and senior year—the story follows an autistic, Palestinian-Canadian girl intent on being the perfect Arab daughter after news of her older sister’s accidental pregnancy shakes her family’s foundation.
A first generation daughter, born with one foot in both worlds, she toes a line that is both invisible yet delicate.
When she falls into an intense first love, one her father opposes, she finds it increasingly difficult to make the right decisions.
As she attempts to navigate her way toward independence, while being a "good" daughter, she finds herself repeatedly failing to meet the expectations of both her family and culture.
Last to Leave by Teresa Richards (Charlesbridge)
Up-and-coming video game streamer, Fallon, has much better luck connecting through the chatbox on her screen than in the real world. Online, she can be unapologetically herself. In person? Not so much. Her gaming channel has not only introduced her to great people, like her best friend and gaming partner Dante, but it's also her main source of income. Fallon knows she's on her own when it comes to paying for college, so every penny counts.
When Fallon earns a coveted spot in the new murder mystery reality show Sleuth It, her objective seems pretty straightforward: play the game, solve the mystery, and win the million-dollar prize. The fact that she’ll do it all on livestream with seven other influencer hopefuls only makes things better—after all, increased exposure is influencer gold, and winning will catapult her gaming channel to the next level. But, unbeknownst to each other, the contestants are all interconnected, and it turns out that Dante is one of them. Suddenly Fallon is face to face with a friend she's only ever spoken to through a screen, and this time they're not on the same team.
But the intrigue runs much deeper. As secrets come out and the lines between ally and adversary blur, Fallon will have to figure out what game she’s really playing, who might be playing her, and what (or who) she’s willing to sacrifice in pursuit of fame and fortune. There's no headset to hide behind this time, and everyone is watching.

Augusta Pine Does Not Exist by Emily Lloyd-Jones (Balzer and Bray)
Combining the suspense of a thriller, the intrigue of spy fiction, and the emotional resonance of a confessional narrative, this is gripping, wholly original novel about a teen secret operative who must outwit a band of murderous cyberterrorists.
I was fifteen when I became a murderer.
After a hack gone tragically wrong, a teen girl is given an ultimatum: accept a harsh prison sentence or leave her old life behind and use her talents in the service of a shady government agency.
Three years later, the newly-named Augusta Pine has become a skilled wraith, one of the Identity Security Division’s secret operatives. She has no home, no family, and her only friends are her coolly professional handler and a snarky AI spybot. So when she is sent to Portland for an assignment, she seizes the chance to catch a glimpse of her beloved grandmother and rents the apartment next door.
What begins as nostalgic stalking turns into a fight for survival when a group of cyberterrorists hacks the building and imprisons the residents. Augusta doesn’t know exactly what they want, but she does know they are ready to murder for it. With her quick wits, tech savvy – and help from an intriguing fellow hostage – Augusta must race against the clock to stay one step ahead of the killers.
Unfolding through a suspenseful narrative interspersed with case-file excerpts, this is a pulse-pounding novel about identity, connection, and justice.
